To anyone who may be considering the Hint 2 Habit Challenge, I can strongly attest to the following: It really works — if you are honest with yourself and stay true to the program. It is easy to adapt these Hints into Habits. Erika & Laura are excellent coaches that don’t nag, yet are consistently giving encouragement. You will be amazed at the benefits of no sugar, no soda, lots of water and consistent exercise. Use the daily checklist to keep you on track. If you slip one day, just get back on the wagon the next day. You will have many other benefits beside just losing weight. But if you are wondering if you can really shed the pounds, I lost 26 lbs. in 8 weeks. Can you take hints and make them Habits? Yes, absolutely!
I am forever grateful that I found the Hint to Habit challenge. The habits that I check off each day are things I should be doing anyway, and the accountability this challenge provides is invaluable to my success. The ladies who run the challenge are kind and helpful. This challenge has spurred me on in my weight loss journey at a time when I thought I was sliding backwards. Almost 100 pounds lost in just 1 year of doing the challenge. I have a ways to go yet, but I know that with the guidance and accountability that this challenge offers, I’ll get my goal! Do not overlook this program if you are trying to find a way to shed pounds and to generally improve your approach to healthy living. This is an 8 week “supportathon”, that puts you with a team of likeminded, enthusiastic participants who embrace exercise, are engaged in weight loss and who are eager to support you in the same pursuit. It is also an open ended program – the challenge can be for 8 weeks or for multiple 8 week periods. I have lost weight over the 4 challenges that I have participated in, but I have also my improved my commitment to healthy eating and consistent exercise. I have found the structure and support of this ingenious program has also enabled me to give up some unhealthy food addictions – something I never imagined I could accomplish.
